摘要:
地震发生后,由现场调查得到的烈度通常称之为宏观地震烈度。200余年来,烈度在地震学、地震工程学和社会灾害学等领域起到了举足轻重的作用。本文对烈度各个时期的内涵、应用及其变迁和发展的原因进行了论述与讨论。论述了烈度曾经是地震学家研究震源特性、地震活动性和危险性等最有用的工具;阐述了烈度在地震工程、抗震防灾等领域发挥的作用;诠释了烈度在社会灾害学领域的拓展;同时简略地解读了新的对于烈度的不同表达形式。目的是与大家共同认识和讨论烈度的相关问题。
Abstract:
After earthquakes, the intensity obtained from field investigation is usually referred to as macroseismic intensity. Over the past 200 years, intensity has played a pivotal role in seismology, earthquake engineering and social catastrophology. In this paper, the connotation, application, reasons for changes and development in different periods are discussed. Intensity was once the most useful tool for seismologists to study focal characteristics, seismic activity and risk. The use of intensity in earthquake engineering, earthquake resistance and disaster prevention is expounded, the development of intensity in social catastrophology is explained, and a brief explanation of new expression forms of intensity is given. The paper is to share and discuss issues related to intensity.
